Walked up to Reynolds peak from Dog Lake. Noted about 10 + ski tracks on the east face of Reynolds with no signs of cracking or avalanching. We dug a pit on the ridge approach, NE aspect at 9100 ft in hopes of that being a similar snow pack to the main open face. Snow was 65 CM deep with about 30 cm of facets at the ground and a slight crust on top of the facets. Above the facets the snowpack is right side up. Recorded CTH22 and ECTN23. Snowpack is becoming more stable but still is dangerous. Opted to be extra cautious and not ski the East face.
