Problem #1 Comments
Dug a pit on an E facing aspect at 9300' with HS 73. We found a 30cm thick, 4F+ slab above a 10cm thick, F hard facet layer, which is sitting on on top of a P hard crust. Tests showed ECTP24 above the crust, and our "Super Long" ECT (120cm wide column) showed propagation at 14 in the same spot (See video).

Comments
Went for a walk up to Georges Bowl. Sunny day with cold temps in the shade, and calm wind. Surface hoar lined the skintrack into the mid elevations. It looked like we received 2-3 inches of snow out of the last storm, although here and there we found some deeper wind drifted pockets. The snowpack is looking very thin, more like a mid-November snowpack than end of December, and many rocks are visible or lurking just below the surface.
