Nothing about today to show signs of stability. At least not around the peaks and ridges which are showing quite a bit of wind and snow transport. Persistent weak facets lurk and snowpack is only half a pole deep at 8000' prov canyon. Would not want to ski any defined avy paths today even if it didn't slide 19 times out of 20 that's pretty bad odds. Persistent slabs like these are tricky even for the very experienced. Best to stay out of harm's way for a while longer.
