New snow totaled about 6 inches topping a breakable crust. Total snow around 2' Stepping into weak near the ground facets.

Decent riding in the new snow today with 6" new topping a breakable crust on north faces 8000' to 9000'. Wind drifted snow was a moderate issue especially in pockets around terrain like cliffs. Weak facets lurk near the ground and cover is still low.
