Mixed bag of snow kept ya on your toes- Dropping into cardiff off the pass was all types of fun; wind board, faceted sugar, rocks, sun crust. S facing back to alta didnt really soften at all by 2pm heading down. Dug on a NW facing shady spot around 9500' and found facets under an inch or so of sun crust. The crust was pretty spotty, 10 feet in either direction was just sugar on top. Straight NE was pretty consistent sugary facets
