Comments
A nice day with warm temps, clear skies, and calm winds. The ski conditions have deteriorated over the last few days with the winds and warm temps. A zipper crust was developing during my late afternoon exit on most of the terrain in the Meadow Chutes except the highest slopes with some northerly tilt. Still a couple creamy turns to be found. Snowpit at 9500 ft on an ENE aspect was 50cm deep and revealed a generally right side up snowpack with little of concern. Lower down on east aspects the snowpack has settled significantly and was moist down to the ground. No signs of instability noted today but I didn't venture into any true southerly facing terrain.
