Around 8500', snow depth ranges between 6-20" with possibly a bit more blown into favored areas. Rocks, stumps, and downed trees are just barley covered.
Surface snow is showing signs of faceting and is definitely the weakest. There is graupel as well in the upper 3-5".
Looking forward to seeing how the snowpack holds up with this Friday's predicted heavy snowfall and strong winds.
