Comments
Took a quick trip up Tanners in the afternoon, the cold temperatures and lack of sunshine kept the surface cold and wet activity at bay. Not enough new snow for any sort of dry activity. There was a few large debris piles from earlier in the week, which were formed from wet avalanches mainly on the W facing, but also a couple big ones out of the due S facing and the SE. I usually wouldn't be hanging out in Tanners in April late in the afternoon due to wet activity and rockfall but this afternoon everything was locked up tight. Still not corn yet but some warm days and cold clear nights should improve the skiing on the S facing.
