Decreasing Danger
Problem #1 Comments
Moderate to strong winds; found drifts well off the ridgelines but unreactive. Many starting zones scoured along the south end of the PC ridge. Still; they're out there and should be recognized, avoided, or mitigated. Pics below. Some drifts up to 12-16" but not connected. Pockety drifts noted to lee of sub-ridges on north to northwest slopes (pic2). (Look for smooth, rounded pillowy features - 2nd pic)
Avalanche Problem #2
Problem
Wet Snow
Problem #2 Comments
Loose wet possible with daytime warming and direct sun. This small wet loose likely from Saturday.
Comments
Trending toward Low danger; isolated wind drifts may still be found in steep terrain for Monday; similarly temps and cloud cover will inform the wet avalanche potential for the few inches of graupel we've received the past couple days.
