Large unstable cornices have formed from the strong winds of the 9th March on the west side of Wolverine Cirque. We managed to drop a 20 foot piece of cornice into the Huge Chute with a single stab of a ski pole. The collapse did not trigger any wind-slab on the scarp slope.
