The shallow new snow was well bonded to the melt-freeze crust in this area today. Nice smooth and fast dust-on-crust conditions. Lower angled slopes rode the best.

Video
The new snow is well bonded to the crust from last week's high pressure. We found stable snow on low and mid elevation slopes in Logan Canyon today, but a persistent weak layer of moist sugary snow exists under a thick, bomber, and crusty layer of February snow.
