Lightly snowing until around 1pm. Slow moving clouds and short periods of sun. Almost no wind and mild temps.

3" of medium density snow at the trailhead and 6" up high made a big improvement in skiing conditions.

Remotely triggered a newly formed small cornice on a short ridge section exposed to the southerly winds overnight. Cracking and collapsing on the same ridge but not anywhere else.
Comments
The trees up high at 11000' were plastered pretty good. Haven't seen that in a while. North winds started to pick up at the end of the day and are supposed to keep up overnight which could change things a little for tomorrow
