Upper elevation Alpine was ruined by winds. Best riding was in sheltered, mid elevation and down terrain.

Wind=Uintas. Above treeline ridges have taken a beating. Getting cracking along drifts and other leeward locations

Rime layer was noted in pit, but did not propagate. Seems like it is missing a key ingredient to produce avalanches, maybe that ingredient will be added later on, maybe not but the poor structure is still present. Also of note was seeing depth hoar for the first time in a looong time. Starting to chain up.

Cracking on the ridge and the skinner. Nothing crazy but a few went about 8" deep. Lots of old debris and evidence of old wind slabs that had gone mid storm.
Haven't seen depth hoar in pits in a while. Starting to chain up when you first touch them but then quickly turned to sugar there after
