Snow Characteristics Comments
Great dense settled powder snow on all aspects, even with the warmer temperatures the snow quality was very nice and a go anywhere base. The Uinta snow pack has started to turn the corner with a good deep snow pack and the riding and turning conditions are some of the best this season.
Red Flags
Red Flags Comments
No red flags observed in our travels, some minor wind drifting along the higher peaks and ridge lines, but generally a low hazard.

Trend
Increasing Danger
Problem #1 Comments
We did not see much higher elevation terrain where the winds were finding enough loose snow to drift onto the leeward slopes creating some minor wind drifts that person might be able to trigger. Would think these would be shallow and mostly manageable in size.
Comments
We spent the day riding through the Whitney Basin seeing a lot of different terrain and did not observe any recent avalanche activity. Lots of riders out getting into some steeper terrain and conditions were pretty stable.
Where the snow pack is deep, it is a good solid snow pack with right side up snow and no concerning snow pit results.
