Snow Characteristics Comments
DEEP powder snow day. 2-3 feet of new snow above the lake made for exciting riding conditions. Almost too deep to ski as we stayed clear of steep slopes.

Red Flags Comments
Observed loose snow sluffs on steep cliffs by lake. Every slope was smoothed out and coated with 2-3' of new snow. Winds were still moving snow along ridgelines. Experienced a collapse on a S facing slope 8900'. Really didn't see much in terms of significant avalanche activity. May have a bit to go before hitting the tipping point though stability test results showed no propagation despite existence of weak snow. Generally more stable than we expected.
