The weather seemed very close to the forecast. wind picked up about 2pm and clouds increased. no new snow

over near Arbs basin and whiskey hill areas i saw a lot more wind affected snow than I saw yesterday over near lighting ridge and wheat grass.

lots of wind slabs buiding.

the first picture is an intersting stability test showing 2 tracks on the lookers right side of the photo on what looks like a wind slab. notice that whiskey hill on the left side of the photo has rocks showing that indicate is has already avalanched.
The video is from right on hwy 39 up near curtis creek rd about 2pm showing the increased winds.
