we noticed a few spots that clearly had old avalanche under the new snow Also the ridges are wind scoured

It looked to me like the new snow was put down on a graupel layer. I want to watch this and see if it was isolated or wide spread

ECTN 09 on the new snow interface with graupel layer
we kicked off a few small slides with the new snow on the steeper side hill riding, but i did not notice and other signs of snowpack instability such as colapsing that i have noticed earlier in the season.
