I got out today in some terrain I hadn't been to yet this year. In this 10K+ steep north facing terrain I discovered this large 800ft wide slide likely from our Dec 14th storm. The new snow was sluffing but very manageable in open terrain where you can adjust your line when necessary. Notice the trees in the picture. This is exactly the kind of terrain I stayed away from. Aspects with previous sun exposure were dust on crust.
