Comments
Was party of one at about 1500 uptrack was showing quite a few rocks and also some snow sliding breaking on the crust layer. There was also a lot of rocks under what looked to be great pow and could be some concern. About 15" of new snow on what looked to be crust layer. Right now there are quite a few slots through the terrain that could easily funnel you into a a very dangerous terrain trap if the top layer broke and carried you. Some of the pack felt like it could slide on the crust layer and really get moving to take you down. It was great ride, with some old crust balls from previous slides under the new snow -- but, Utah pow, yet got nervouis about hitting granite burried under the pow. Still some great lines just bring your rock skis.
