Comments
After skiing some really deep powder in the Park City area I got up in the Hoyt area late in the afternoon. Just like in Park City, collapsing was widespread. I dug in three different places and observed the deepest snow pack down lower at 8500ft. I didn't get higher than 9400 ft due to some down timber on the road and a setting sun. My snow stability tests were showing off the multiple density inversions that exist in the new snow.
