Snow Characteristics Comments
Snow only exists on the northern quadrant of the compass. Pretty much bare ground everywhere else. Facets, breakable crusts, and surface hoar all packed into about 38 cm at the deepest spots.
Fast and loud turns were of the "think light thoughts" variety as rocks and stumps are just barely covered. Overall very weak snow pack.
