Weather Comments
Our route today was up into Broads Fork with an exit via Eeny Meeny Miny Moe into Mill B South. A mostly sunny morning gave way to about 50 percent cloud cover with a few snow flurries in the afternoon. There was no wind observed on our tour, even on the ridge between Broads Fork and Lake Blanche. So, the solar heating seemed quite strong. Temperatures were in the low 30s to mid 40s at the lower elevations.

Powder
Damp
Snow Characteristics Comments
Dry settled powder on due north aspects and in the shade of trees with increasingly damp snow on all other aspects as the late March sun did what it does. By tomorrow anything that got sun today is going to be crusted or stiff and frozen.

Red Flags Comments
I took a couple of photos, one of wet slide sluffs covering the skin track going up Bonkers and another of point release wet sluffs getting started in Eeny Meeny Miny Moe.
