Weather Comments
Snowing hard in the morning but by 10:30 when I started it had broken up somewhat and scattered clouds kept the mountain kind of fogged in all day. The sun did come out briefly and when it did it got warm real fast. Almost no wind but there was a SW flow to the clouds and later in the day it switched to a calm NW.

About 8" new snow at the parking lot and 12" above 10000'. Good powder skiing on all aspects unless the sun got to it at all. It did get a little thicker on the ski out below 9000'

Comments
The new snow was bonded well to the old snow surface that was a crust on most slopes, even in north facing trees at 10000'. I was able to see briefly into North Creek. The big East facing slopes had the typical crossloading look to them from the wind during the storm but didn't see any natural avalanches. I still stayed out of the main drainage for the day
