Mostly sunny skies, warm, but never got out of hand. Southeast winds were limited to upper elevation ridglines and were pretty well behaved. Few stronger gusts, but overall lighter than expected.

Lots of variability out there, high northland still holds soft settler pow, crusty elsewhere. Due south supportable, and corn by mid to late afternoon.

Decreasing Danger
Problem #1 Comments
Lots of minor stuff that fits into the category of “low danger doesn’t mean no danger”. First of these was a small wind slab I triggered on the top of middle Moffit. Was a bit over a foot deep and around 20 feet wide. Ran around 500 vert due to the steepness of the terrain. Not a big deal, but could have knocked you off your feet. No new wind slabs observed as there isn’t much available for transport.

New Snow
Problem #2 Comments
Lots of slugging in steep terrain. Entraining a decent amount of snow, and could also knock you of your feet if not paying attention.
Comments
Photo shows sluffing in the steeper terrain.
