No red flags to speak of other than the diurnal cycle and good timing - get off the steep sunlit aspects with the sun and heating. Minor size 1-1.5 wet loose observed on SE facing Mt Gog (below) and elsewhere in the Wellsvilles.
Comments
Three days at the Bunchgrass yurt in Bunchgrass/Upper White Pine Canyon above Logan canyon.
Three relevant snow pits in representative northerly terrain showed stable snow with no signs of buried SH or NSFC in upper meter.
Excellent skiing. Skied two runs on steep NW off Mt Gog (9400') and all steep terrain off north facing White Pine Knob (9100') and found no signs of unstable snow. Only the most minor of dry sluffing in (not very weak) surface snow in this terrain.
Snowmobile community hitting everything in sight with no signs of unstable snow.
