Red Flags Comments
Felt like 10 degrees warmer today and the snow conditions changed fairly soon this morning. It was already getting damp on the lower east facing slopes and around 11:00 wet sluffs were easy to trigger.

Problem #1 Comments
The heat was a little more intense today and terrain that was getting direct sun quickly became damp and wet sluffs were easy to initiate on steeper slopes.
Comments
1. A little crusty this morning on the ride into Gold Hill, but things softened quickly. 2. Not a great photo of this snow pit in Gold Hill, but I was finding a nice solid and stable snow pack with increasing dense snow as you move from the surface down towards the ground.
Wet sluffs were easy to trigger on sunny slopes this afternoon.
