Snow Characteristics Comments
2" on the road when we started hiking at 8300'. The rain, snow line from yesterday was about 9000'. Once we got above that conditions improved greatly. The snow was dense, creamy, and fast. Even down lower at the end of our tour I could just barely feel a crust and there was about 6" at the trailhead and the skin track was gone.

Comments
We skied the lower elevation old ski area today because of the strong winds and heavy snow. Didn't want to mess with the North Creek Rd that crosses several avalanche paths
