Cold temperatures but relatively mild with much less wind than expected and lightly snowing. The sky up high was mostly obscured but good visibility mid to low elevations

I didn't see any instabilities in the new snow where I was but with some of the scoured ridges I'm sure there were some slopes that had snow loaded on them

I only made it to about 7500' today with a late start but heard reports of similar conditions in higher elevations, and one small wind slab release
