Snow Characteristics Comments
Though the most recent wind damage was wide spread across slope, the wind crusts were shallow and soft enough not to make turning too difficult. Over all, good turning conditions, very good on wind sheltered, shady slopes.
Red Flags
Red Flags
Recent Avalanches
Wind Loading
Cracking
Red Flags Comments
Minor cracking of newest wind slabs. Wind loading going on before your eyes at the upper elevations, but easy to avoid. Have to keep the recent deep avalanches as part of stability evaluation.

Comments
Southerly facing slope had a deep snowpack, the upper part with various layers of wind slabs, perhaps some small facets between layers? Lots of variation across slopes. Have to evaluate each part of the slope individually. Deepened snowpack is good news.
