Had a few booming collapses on upper elevations as we skinned along SE meadows. Saw small natural cycle on steep E and SE slopes. Lots of wind effect evidence.

Several PWL, but the one that presented in my pit was 60cm down. ECTP#27. Garbage in the basement is still very much alive and well. Noticed a road cut that had been undercut by a machine slide right to the ground.

Only came across 1 today in my travels as I was trying hard to avoid them. This one was in thick timber, upper elevations, on a N facing shot. Went nowhere but was a good reminder that areas with more wind effect and steeper slopes would not be a good place to find yourself.

Had initiation on the above layers but never propagated. Once hit the down 60cm layer; full propagation.
