Snow Characteristics Comments
The upper elevations suffered from the forces of the wind at the end of this last storm cycle. The riding conditions were overall firm with soft snow in sheltered areas, wide spread wind crust on Cutler ridge. The best turns were had on upper solar aspects as the wind crust had softened up. The lower elevations, however, were very punchy and had poor pack structure.
