Unbelievable amount of snow-water-equivalent in the Provo mtns. Nearly 5” of water since Sunday morning 1230am to Monday evening.

Much of the water weight due to a great deal of the storm snow as graupel at mid-mtn at Sundance. Graupel less noted at Timp Divide.

Collapsing and cracking everywhere. All aspects and elevations. Collapsing due to poor structure mid/low elevations on shady aspects and within the storm snow otherwise.
Comments
For winter 18/19, storms have been generally northwesterly and the recent snowpack has deteriorated at the mid and low elevations. Cutbanks ran w provocation. Wallowing general.
Video
Visibility poor to note what widespread activity has occurred. Still, collapsing and cracking to 300’ noted even at low elevations. Natural noted at entrance to Provo Canyon.
