Snow Characteristics Comments
Snow was mostly supportable, good quality snow, however in some places it was starting to feel more loose and sandbox-y when skinning. In some places that had received sun, there was also a pretty weak crust.

Poor Snowpack Structure
Red Flags Comments
Along ridge tops, snow was hard and wind scoured. Just below this, there were a few turns of wind affected snow but it didn't seem to be as wide spread or sensitive as what was reported at higher elevations in Little or Big today. Not much new transport today from S to N because of the sun crusts present on S slopes. Regarding the snow structure, I had been in this area about a month ago and observed similar snow structure but with different test results. I was surprised this time by the cohesiveness of the slab and that it propagated fully.
