Nice dry, cold, turnable snow in the sheltered areas but the exposed slopes took a major beating last night and today from the East and North East winds. The best turning is in the mid-low elevation protected trees.

cracking but stubborn soft slab. I believe there are places to trigger hard slab and the wind loading in the exposed areas is in places that usually are not affected by wind.

Lots of wind slab out there on the ridges mostly from the East and NE winds, but I also found some slab on all exposed aspects. Cracking was common on upper exposed areas.
