Snow Characteristics Comments
Good early season coverage. As low as 6500' there was nearly a meter of snow, and he dribs-and-drabs approach to building a snowpack has added up to powder with body; the kind you float on without hitting the bottom. Can't speak for solar aspects, our tour kept us on the north half of the compass.

Comments
HS - 100-150cm above 7500'. Quick pit on NNW at 8500' showed 3cm of 4-finger facets over 12cm of knife hard ice crust at the ground. No CT results on this layer. A hard shovel shear result down 40cm at the transition from 4-finger decomposing fragments to older 1-finger snow was the only other "result". Snow seems thick and quite stable.
Plenty of snow available for transport, should the winds ever pick-up...
Always some sort of "thicketeering" involved.
