nice 12 inches of very turnable soft light density snow on top of the supportable crust from the recent warm up.

Below 8000 ft. I could find very little wind loading, but could see it at the higher elevations and can not comment about its stability.
Comments
The new snow is sitting on a firm 5 inch knife density layer. I could not get any movement between the very distinct old snow and new. I can only comment on where I skied, but found very stable conditions, no cracking, collapsing.
Video
This video was on a 30 deg. NE slope at 8000ft. Does not show the entire snowpack, only the interface of old and new snow. No faceting down deeper.
