Looks like much of Franklin Basin was spared the effects of the southeast wind on Christmas Day, and didn't notice much drifting from a light north wind today. I could see some evidence of recent drifting on a steep roll off in a large meadow.

The snowpack in the Gibson Lakes area was apparently stable, but I'm finding weak faceted snow where it's shallow and around rocks. I did not venture into the steeper bowls and avalanche paths west of the lakes.
Very nice shallow powder riding in upper Franklin Basin, and lots of room to play....
