Lots of traffic. Tracks on many slopes that have enough coverage to ride. We did not see any avalanches and the few wind drifts we touched did not crack. However, it is still a little difficult to access avalanche terrain. There were quite a few tracks on steeper parts of the slope where I recorded this snowpit. The faceted layer is still there and still reactive to stability tests as seen in the snowpit above, however, (1) it has adjusted to the load of snow from early this month and/or (2) it is a thin enough layer that it is interrupted by terrain roughness.

Slabs or wind-drifted snow were the main concern. Where we rode the danger was low because we didn't get to any place with fresh wind drifts.
