It’s boney. Lots of stumps and logs (big surprise). Only reason I write is to remind that they will be perfect leg snappers with a foot of snow so be mindful after the next storm. Did not dig a profile but the underlying pack feels fairly dense. Right now there are a couple bare patches on the steep part of the in hike.
