Comments
Went up to look for early season snow again today. We looked on a true N aspect at 9100 ft. We were in a very sheltered area. We were able to find old snow but the layer was not reactive. Most of the old snow most have gotten wet at some point and was very well frozen where we looked. I continue to believe that we do not have a lingering persistent weak layer problem here in Ogden. I am on a mission to look a couple of more places where it might be reactive. I am becoming more confident in the fact that the layer of concern will not become reactive.
We did see some transport of snow on the upper ridge lines. Our party was unable to trigger any new windslabs.
