Comments
This morning I took a lovely nature ski walk from the North Ogden Divide. On the trail I passed 4 Moose including a sizable bull. Ridge lines were moderately wind effected. Good ski conditions still exist in sheltered areas. In general the snow pack is consolidating well and I did not observe any persistent weak layers or significant ground facets on easterly facing slopes ranging from 6500' - 8700'. My number one concern this morning was wind drifts on steep slopes.
