Snow Characteristics Comments
Excellent powder skiing where there is enough coverage
I measured about 18" at the trailhead and 3' at 7900' E Facing and did not see any faceted snow on the ground. There was about 8" of new snow in the last couple of days. Supportable and fairly dense under the new snow. The danger was low where we were but I'm sure it could be moderate at higher elevation and steeper terrain.
