Comments
Today was 5 star powder skiing. We found stable slopes on the South half of the compass. Coverage on the south slopes remains thin. Roughly 60 cm average on Emma 2-4 + Binx's and Culps areas. South had taken on some sun and formed a crust by the time we exited at 4:00 PM. Southeast and Southwest had taken on solar warmth but did not form a crust. Clouds moved in at 1:00 PM and the temperature cooled. We did not view any avalanches or experience any cracking or collapsing on the south aspects.
During our skin out of Silver Fork we poked into Quicksilver/ Hide-a-way park area to look at an NE aspect. We found a significantly deeper snowpack of 115cm at 9800'. The November facets roughly 20-35 cm up from the ground were present and remain reactive. ECTP 29.
