Calling it clear. Thin high clouds around this morning. Enough for a 22˚ halo. Wind light and variable, although we didn't top out.

Morning tour with either melt/freeze crust or damp snow. Former predominated early, even at the trailhead. Hasty pits showed freeze was shallow in most areas.

Natural wet sloughs on dusty old melt/freeze crust on steeper slopes and most aspects. Most appeared to initiate near exposed rocks. Probably from prior day. Rollerballing while skiing on NE aspect a around 11:30 AM. It's too hot out there for early May.
