We rode in Franklin Basin today and found somewhat sensitive drifted snow. Most wind loaded slopes steeper than 30 degrees would crack in front of you but we could not get anything to continue sliding. We stayed on slopes less than 34 degrees all day. We stomped on several cornices and although several broke off, we were not able to get any slides to start. Overall, in the upper Franklin Basin area things felt fairly stable.

There were no signs of recent avalanches however there weren’t any “testers” out by the time we packed up at 1200
