Comments
Sky was overcast most of the tour so limited vis. No real wind below tree line, light winds at tree line, however there was evidence of wind loading, windward erosion and leeward deposition, at and above tree line (~meter wide drift beside the talus pile on top of prelude and the usual cornice on Tuk-no). Temps felt warm, above freezing?, most of the morning but dropped around 11am. Not measured. Possibly even some small surface hoar or just large plates observed. Dropped into North Woods at tree line so no alpine obs, didn’t even look at funnel. Snow was fun to ski and supportable. Tons of timber hazards though. Light snowfall started around noon and progressed to Graupel. Saw 3 other BC travelers and one nordork.
