Mostly high clouds with a few warm pokes of sun. Clearing towards the late afternoon. Really warm day!!!

Found a thin rime crust on almost all snow aspects. The only place I found powder snow was in tightly spaced conifer trees. which blocked the rime from the snow surface.

Dug a pit on a N facing aspect at 9,500 feet. I got an ECTP25 failing near the ground. There was about 100cm of snow where I dug.
