Beautiful blue bird days. Mild temps in the upper 20's. Little to no wind.

Good riding on West- North- East aspects. Surface hoar was tall and the near surface facets made for good skiing and riding. With this new storm coming in this weekend this new large surface hoar layer could become another issue.

Still have local small collapsing and shooting cracks in some places. Small cracking under foot also.

We currently have two layers that are producing reactive ECT results on the NW aspects in Bloomington canyon. The persistent layer from 35-50cm on the ground is still producing ECTP14,16,13 SC Q1.

The storm that came in Jan 11-12 was reactive @20cm down from the surface ECTP8,10 SC Q1.

All in things are still pretty iffy out there. Still seeing cracking and collapse. Good fast snow can be had with the loud pow on sheltered NW-NE slopes.
