Cold settled pow... just lacking snow depth. With just a couple of feet of settled snow, sure the snowpack is shallow, but buried rain and heat crusts have given our pack a surprising amount of "body".
Not widespread and very manageable....winds found enough loose snow to blow around and create sensitive, yet shallow drifts on steep, leeward slopes.
