Snow Characteristics Comments

The snowpack all the way up to 11k had a thin freeze on top from overnight lows with mostly drained out large round grains beneath the surface and down at least 80cm and likely deeper

Many large glide avalanches have slid in prior days in east facing Broads Fork, some pushing 4 meters in depth to ground and 500' wide.

no loose snow activity observed, perhaps it has been there and done that already.

Gliding Snow
Problem #1 Comments

Being that we observed no wet loose activity today I would venture to say that Glide slide would be a catidate for the largest issue in problematic areas that have yet to slide.

Problem #2 Comments

If any large pieces of snow are yet to drop, they will surly be getting close to it at this point.

She's a mess out there as everything has been coming un-glued! Skinnable snow is reached at about 7600' going up Broads Fork Trail.
